Grace Food Pantry
With the state of our economy and job losses, we know that some of our Grace families and people in our community are finding it difficult to make ends meet. That is why Grace is starting a food pantry, and we need your help. If you want to be a part of this exciting mission project, please bring non-perishable food items to the office.
We would love to give a family in need a bag of groceries to alleviate a little stress from their lives. If your family is struggling financially and could use this kind of help, please contact Shelley Atkins at satkins@graceacademync.com
Think about the types of foods that your family likes that can be stored in your pantry. The following items are suggestions for non-perishable foods to donate:
· Canned soups, chicken, tuna, fruit, vegetables
· Boxed macaroni and cheese, rice, rice and beans, pasta, cereal, granola
· Jars of spaghetti sauce, peanut butter, jelly
· Bottles of juice, juice boxes
I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me. Matthew 25: 35
