Admissions into Grace Academy is a 4 step process:
1. Attend an Informational Meeting
Applicants must attend an informational meeting as the first step of the application process. These meetings are designed to give important information to anyone interested in enrollment.*
Return the completed forms and an application fee of $150.00 (checks payable to Grace Academy) to: Grace Academy P.O. Box 2553, Matthews, NC, 28105.
2. Complete Application and a Registration Form
All forms below must be submitted in order for your application to be complete.
3. Interview with the Admissions Board Committee.
4. Complete Enrollment Agreement.
Upon acceptance your enrollment agreement and all financial forms and deposits/payments will be required to hold a place for your child(ren) each semester. This deposit will be applied toward tuition.
Classes will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis with a minimum number of students needed in each class and a maximum of 15 students per class. When a class is filled, a waiting list will be kept.
*At this time, we are not equipped or staffed in our classrooms to provide for special needs children and/or learning disabilities and/or behavioral problems. We do have a brochure from the North Carolinians for Home Education (NCHE) which has a resource guide for special programs that can meet these needs.

Grace Weekly Highlights
School Closed
Grace Academy is closed Tues., 2/7 due to a sewage problem. We were just notified by the Town of Matthews. We plan to be back in school on Wed. Please check our website to make sure.
2012-13 Registration
It's time to register for next year! The 2012-13 Class Schedule and registration forms have been mailed to current families. Register by 5/1 for discounts.
Common Ground
Common Ground is for 7th - 12th grade students and meets each Thursday for a time of fellowship, games, and worship. Common Ground meets at 3645 Pleasant Plains Road, Matthews. The next Common Ground will be Thurs., 2/9 at 7:00 p.m.
Information Meeting
If you know of anyone interested in attending Grace Academy for the 2012-13 School Year, there will be an Information Meeting Tues., 2/7 @ 7:00 p.m. at the Grace Center, 3645 Pleasant Plains Road, Matthews.

Grace Walk & 5K Run
Grace Academy is very excited about our first Walk/5K Run. This event will be Sat., 4/21. The starting line will be at the Grace Center!
BBQ fundraiser
The Athletics Booster Club is sponsoring a BBQ at the new Grace Center on Thurs., 3/8 to benefit "A Place for Grace" building fund and to kick off the Grace to Run/Walk end of school year celebration! If you would like to become involved or have questions, please e-mail: GraceAcademyBBQ@gmail.com.
