In an ever changing culture of technology and with the continuing progression of the internet, education and learning are rapidly advancing throughout the world. Today there are more opportunities online to advance your education at the college and post graduate level.
Grace Academy has recently completed a pilot program for Grace Online Learning that gives that same flexibility and opportunity to High School students and eventually for all the K-12 courses that Grace Academy offers.
What are some of the distinctives of the Grace Online Program:
- With the on campus college style schedule and teaching at Grace Academy, it is a very natural transition to online learning.
- The same excellent quality of an on campus education and teachers are available to the students online.
- Grace Online Learning offers flexibility in education to busy families and students.
Grace Weekly Highlights
End of Grade Testing
If your student's last name begins with letters N-Z, they will be testing Fri., 3/12. Students should arrive by 8:45 a.m. This testing is mandatory.
2010-11 Registration
We are currently registering students for 2010-11 School Year. Class Schedule and registration information can be found under Admissions. Be sure to register early and save!
Online Courses

Common Ground
Common Ground is a Bible Study for 7th - 12th Grade students that meets on Thursdays. The next meeting will be 3/11 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at 855 Sam Newell Road, Suite 100 (near the Crews Center & Crestdale Middle School).
Information Meeting
If you know of anyone interested in attending Grace Academy for fall 2010, there will be an Information Meeting Thurs., 3/11 @ 7:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church Matthews.
Art Show
Mark your calendars now! The Art Show is scheduled for 3/18. It will be a wonderful night of Grace student artwork displays.
Drama Performances
Mark your calendars now! Our drama students will be performing at the Matthews Community Center 3/19 and 3/26 at 7:00 p.m.
Science Fair
Grace will be holding a Science Fair on Tues., 3/30. Students in grades 4th - 12th are eligible to participate. For more information, please contact your Science Teacher or email the coordinator at davis@graceacademync.com.
Nicaragua Missions Trip
Grace will lead a group of students on a missions trip to Nicaragua 6/9 - 6/15. If you are interested, contact us at gracemissions @graceacademync.com. The cost of the trip is $1,390. The deposit of $200 to confirm your spot is due 4/29.

Coaching Opportunities
