We hope you had a great Thanksgiving! Here are a few things we wanted you to know about:

Chapel
Parents, students and teachers: Join us for the last chapel of 2008! We will meet in the sanctuary Wednesday, December 3 from 10:00-10:30. This will be a great time of worship and teaching. We hope to see you there!
Christmas Program
Please plan to attend our Christmas program this Friday, December 5th at 7:00 p.m. Our students are excited to display their talents through music and drama. The Christmas program will take place in the sanctuary here at First Baptist Church.
We are in need of a Santa suit for the program this Friday. If you have one you would be willing to loan, please contact our Drama teacher, Leslie Price at price@graceacademync.com or call the school office at 704-845-1767. Ho! Ho! Ho! and thanks!
Citipass Coupon Book Money Due 12/8
We have extended the sale deadline to Monday, December 8th. We have had a great response in our community! If you have any questions or need more books, please contact Mrs. Queen at: Queen@GraceAcademync.com
Student Illness
It's that time of year! We have had several students out sick these last few weeks. Please keep your student home 24 hours if they have had fever, strep throat or vomiting. You must email each of your students' teachers to let them know if your child is out sick. Teachers must receive notice of an excused absence within the school day missed. We are doing our best to keep everyone healthy through the holidays and we thank you for your help!
Dress Code
Please be mindful as it states in our dress code as follows...
Female Students
* Shirts must not be tight, form fitting, revealing, or midriff bearing. Absolutely no cleavage or midriffs showing. Hey, it's winter and it's cold anyway!
* Skirts and dresses are to fit properly and be no shorter than 2 inches above the knee.
Male Students
* Pants must be worn at the waistline and be appropriately sized.
* No undergarments may be showing at any time!
Our dress code is designed to encourage modesty, decency and propriety. The Grace Academy dress code aims to honor God.
Information Meeting
If you know of anyone who is interested in Grace Academy for Fall 2009, please let them know about our upcoming information meeting. We will meet Thursday, December 11th in room 220 from 7:00-8:00.
Lunch Bunch
Let's have lunch! We will be meeting at Five Guys at the Galleria Shopping Center at 12:30, Monday, December 8. Be sure to tell them you are with Grace Academy. A percentage will be given back to Grace Academy.
Sports
We have alot of great sports to get involved in! If you have any questions regarding our sports programs please email sports@graceacademync.com
Baskbetball
Our basketball season has started! Check the Grace Academy website for game times and locations. Please come support your Grace Academy Lions!
Coaching
Anyone interested in helping coach our girls basketball team, co-ed golf team or cheerleading, please e-mail sports@graceacademync.com or call 704.814.9077. Thanks!
